What is sheet metal stamping?
Sheet metal stamping is a subtractive manufacturing process in which parts are formed from thin sheet metal. The sheet metal stamping process is widely used because it is cost-effective with high precision and durability. The car casings we see on the road, as well as the casings of some mechanical equipment, as small as the spoons and forks we use for meals every day, are all produced by stamping processes.
